Conversations with the Living: Globalization and the Haitian AIDS Crisis tackles the origins of the HIV/AIDS crisis in Haiti, while placing the prevalence of the disease through the perspective of Haiti’s historic political and socio-economic manipulation by foreign powers. Conversations with the Living also highlights the courageous struggle and tremendous will exhibited by the hundreds of thousands of Haitians combating and living with this deadly disease.
Conversations with the Living explores the AIDS crisis in Haiti, places the prevalence of the disease within the context of the country’s exploitation at the hands of foreign powers, and highlights the valiant struggle of Haitians to combat the disease.
